Todays Devs need to be criticized. As long as it’s not personal attacks And such it’s fine.
Like the state Halo Infinite shipped in 1000% earned the Community calling for 343 to clean house or it to go to another Dev.
The problem with todays games is most release in a Beta stage and full of Microtransactions and we the consumer allow it. I wish people would quit spending money on F’ing Microtransactions so maybe they’d be an afterthought, but until people quit spending their money on bad games and hold the devs accountable gaming will continue to be lackluster.
As for Destiny. Bungie deserves the hate for the state of PvP and how they’ve treated it. They tell us PvP is a main core aspect and just as important as PvE, yet they don’t show it

The r/halo subreddit had to be locked for a couple days while the moderation team expanded due to the amount of personal attacks. Constructive feedback is important, but people have really been spoiled with Developers being transparent in their socials and on reddit. A lot of them aren't obliged to be transparent with you about whether twilight garrisons coming back or Halo infinite's color coating system. But because they were being open about it people went all out on death threats, personal attacks, and even going after Developers families about it. The problem is just a few bad apples can rob the rest of us from this kind of developer communication, and it's pretty fair to call out harassment when it happens.

Bungie’s wasn’t just getting hate though. Devs were literally getting death threats. I can kinda understand giving a company hate over things you don’t like. Yet when it comes to death threats that’s something people shouldn’t do.
