So I am creating this because I myself and many other players that I have been introducing to the game have been experiencing serious desync issues I personally myself have dealt with it for over a year with friends just saying I need to get good and I'm trash and everything else it's a really big problem when your shots don't register or you get shot through walls or the other players are completely invisible especially in trials people that I've tried introducing to the game have immediately uninstalled because they experience this and I think it is an amazing game and I have done everything in my power as in port forwarding connecting straight to bungee servers hardwired any and everything you can think of I have good internet and I have shared some videos on my YouTube channel there is one in the link just to give an example to show the experience of what it's like for majority of the Destiny 2 community I have searched for over a year trying to figure this out so now I'm coming here to post this to see if Bungie can give us some answers respectively and are what is the community's thoughts because this is very very frustrating to deal with in literally almost every single match Even in private matches I really want to figure this out so I can get more people to come back to the game and not have all this negative towards it so yes can someone please give us answers

1 ReplyThese people will tell you it's your internet, while your internet might not be great, D2 servers and connections are trash. I have 1gb fiber internet with up and down speeds up to 900mb/s, .49ms jitter, and 6ms ping but I experience teleporting and desync from adds and players in all facets of the game. Flat out D2's network is garbage. Not a single other online connected game is even remotely as bad as this is. Bungaroni knows it's bad but can't or won't bother rebuilding dedicated servers. You'll have to endure the sh!t connection issues even with great internet.

Simply having an internet service is not sufficient to run D2 in it's current state. You must have 100% stable connection to the D2 game world/players at all times. Not everyone who buys the game will be able to play the game. It is our reponsibility as gamers to only play the game especially PVP with a service that does not make the game frustrating for all the other players you will interact with.

Try running this test I provided and choose a server about 2000 miles away if possible. That will give a good indication of what's happening with that service.
