Been playing for years, it's always been the same.
Exactly. And the "promise" of being better (Blackburn / Destiny's best days) after the relaunch was, and will, never fulfilled. It's always been the same, like you said, because that's "economical" - same mapping, same gear, same event, it has only another shader. I haven't uninstalled it yet, but I did not even finish the final mission of this season. I play something else, I bought other games and I see how "refreshing" it is. And Destiny (2) could be same - but not with Bungie's drawer mentality. I think the next season will not be different. Maybe we are too discerning, or maybe Bungie's too undiscerning... because they don't have to, because it's all in their drawers, waiting to be recycled.

My sentiments exactly, not that it's a great game but I finally finished Outriders and it felt nice to play something where you can make a build that matters, shoot crap alone at your leisure (not in patrol zones I mean), and not worry about other nonsense. I installed Cyberpunk and am starting ME1 also. Kind of starting to feel a bit refreshing thinking about putting this down and focusing on more private matters/hobbies. Today I deleted my titan and hunter; flat out sick of bounty prep/grind, and probably won't bother with the rest of the season's challenges. I'll do GMs here or there for sh!ts not because I'll get the god rolls I want. I'm also thinking S18 will be pretty crappy too so if it is I'm not waiting until the year's over to move on.
