Then do what all players do when they start playing a new game and learn how to play that game.
We all started at the same level and got better at it. You will havd to now.

You can't get better in destiny that's the problem, sure you learn what to do and what not to do, but it's all still just a dice roll.
-
With enough practice, anyone can improve in PvP. The problem is, people don't want to take the time to improve. They'd rather blame everything except their own poor PvP performance.
-
This isn't halo, you don't just magically learn how to register melees and shoulder charges. A core part of gameplay and you gotta roll a dice. Doesn't sound like skill to me.
-
But both were made by the same people. No it sounds like you are scared of learning how to play pvp. Just use your head. Learn as you go. If you have problems with a map go into private match settings and explore. Pve will teach you the controls Try out different kit loadouts as no one player is the same.
-
Ah yes, the same company, it's problem the same 20 year old engine and tools their using too.
-
You blame anything don't you. Are you a serial complainer. Is that your job you go into forums and complain about anything and everything.
-
This is ridiculously ironic
-
What a lame insult.
-
Not a insult just asking a question.

It's guns. Not abilities

Because abilities are inconsistent.
-
I also find people who put in the least time in this game have the most to say on forums.
im looking at you too bungie
-
And it's not even a pvp shooter. 1 map in 3 years, non existent balancing in every sense imaginable, the WORST crossplay implementation, you take the problems a real multi-player shooter has, and destiny takes it 3x further. People defend this game like it's an esports worthy when it's not even close. If people would stop defending this mediocre excuse of a multi-player game, then maybe they'd actually provide us with a game that works and is consistent.
-
No one saying it's competitive. But don't be complaining about shoulder charges and melee when that'd barely a factor in what players get kills with in pvp
-
You definitely sound like you don't play the game. You shoot close range, then follow up with Melee is like 1/4 of engagements. Boot up halo, shoot someone, then Melee them. Tell me how many you melees miss. Almost 0. Boot up Destiny, then just go try and Melee someone. 1/2 of them are a coin flip and it's just a symbol of how this game runs.

Period. Go into any players stat tracker and see what place melee falls out. Hint: it's FAR behind primary or special weapons. Not 1/4
-
That's because melees don't register as they should. Is that plane over your head?
-
That's because melees don't register as they should. Is that plane over your head?
LOL yeah melees are far behind GUNS because melees miss too often right? Not because 90% of engagements in this SHOOTER are gun based right? How delusional are you going to go?
-
Yea, you use a gun. Then Melee if they're too close. How dense can someone be. Then I suddenly remember they play destiny lmao. In a world of shotguns and smgs, you're saying melees are hardly a factor. And you're nuts for that you see?
-

And you're nuts for that you see?
Except the rate of shooting vs melee kills is insanely large, this is a SHOOTER primarily. You are talking about a mechanic that is used for, what, 5% of kills in matches? And using THAT 5% as justification for why pvp is broken and somehow don't see how ridiculous that is
-
It's not a justification for pvp being broken, its an evidence, and there's plenty other kinds. But hey, warlocks don't equip ophidians just because it handles weapons a little faster. Just equipping that Exotic alone allows for warlocks to Melee more consistently and further range which is why it's the literal go to for pvp Exotics. You're using Stats in a game built around inconsistencies, it's absurd. You take someone's ability to Melee consistently and of COURSE those stats are going to be what you showed.

If course it will see use. Again you using sometimes non tracking melees which itself makes up a tiny % of kills compared to gunskill which is by far the primary way to play as the reason for pvp being broken is simply ridiculous
