By making your Steam account the active save, you must first deactivate cross-save in order to change your active account to PSN. This comes with a 90 day cooldown before reactivation is possible. There is no way to bypass this.

Um, that really is the dumbest nonsense ever.

It's the truth and the simple fact you don't like the answer makes no difference. Multiple posts won't change this fact either.
It's the truth and the simple fact you don't like the answer makes no difference. Multiple posts won't change this fact either.
It would take a human all of 8 seconds to swap my steam main for my ps5. No need to deactivate CS. No need to wait 90 days. I have no other characters. I’m not cheating the system. I’m not hustling. Each case is different. To lump everything into a “90-day cooldown” is dumb in this particular case. The fact I have to discuss this nonsense on a message board is even more dumb. That’s all I’m saying, pal-o.
No need to deactivate CS. No need to wait 90 days..
They did used to do it for people back when it first launched and then people refused to read the FAQ/cross-save guide that tells you all of the restrictions and abused them swapping active platforms. So you've got the people that abused the system/weren't careful/didn't read the CS FAQ/Guide to blame for them not helping now. The best ones were people that thought they wanted to start over, but after a few days decided they wanted to switch it back.
Each case is different. To lump everything into a “90-day cooldown” is dumb in this particular case.
Yeah every case is different, but once you start making exceptions for one you have to start doing it for everyone.

But Bungie clearly doesn't want to do it for whatever reason, and they won't bend their own rules for you either...
