People are actually complaining about good sportsmanship now? If it's after a blowout, just take it as "even though you lost, I respect the effort you put in enough to say something about it." If they were trying to insult you gg isn't what they'd go with.

At no point, even if you wish it would. GG = Good Game. If you say a stomp match is "GG", a "good game", you are implying that the match was fair, fun and a great time. If your opponent got stomped, they will not see the match as fair, fun and a great time. There is no deeper or abstract logic behind it. Just people misusing the term "GG" too universally in games. Edit: Better choices to say "I respect your effort" would be just typing that or "You did good" or "You played well". But not "GG".

This is called an ego problem, gg isn’t toxic

Words can always used to harm others, no matter how friendly they sound.

GG on an online PvP game. Grow up
Grow up
See, right there. You try to make me upset with your words.

No, I’m tell you what you need to hear and that is to grow up. Being childish and getting offended over stupid stuff is a horrible and dumb way to live, you will never be happy if you don’t fix that attitude of yours.

"Grow up" is at this point the same stupid phrase as "man up" being said to emotionally men.

No, no it isn’t
