People complained incessantly about content droughts. On occasion they led to great things (Dark Below, House of Wolves, TTK). Other times they led to crap (Curse of Osiris, Rasputin). Personally I don’t mind the seasons, but maybe that’s because I only play casually now. Since I stopped playing 4-5 hours a day everything seems like less of a big deal. Now I play 4-5 a week max and feel oddly satisfied with the game.

Once I have the power level to do dungeons and etc I stop chasing pinnacles and only do the weekly stuff that I enjoy. I stopped playing PvP and Gambit entirely. Never played to much gambit unless I was chasing a weapon and crucible just aggravated me too much. PVE is just a time killer. Usually I play when riding an exercise bike. Only way I can forget about how boring exercising is. Seasons work better because I am just looking for content to play. Even if it is a drip feed of lackluster content.
