That’s pretty cheap these days, it’s due to the package size. 10 years ago was helping my buddy with his company and had to ship a set of rock sliders to Russia. Due to the size there was only option and it cost $2300 for a $250 product. The customer in Russia lucked out since FedEx missed the pickup time and since it was a guaranteed delivery time they had to refund the shipping since it was a day late.

If you think that's cheap, please actually work in supply chain to make this comment. This ain't cheap at all.

These days it is cheap for a low volume shipper. I get to deal with it every week at work. Either wait 7-180 days for a few bucks or $100-$1000 for overnight shipping.

For Bungie to use this, makes it worse pricing because random shippers can get this price, while Bungie is a considerably bigger company. This coming from Bungie is just they got no one who understands how this works

Like I said cheap for “these days”. Bungie us a fairly big company but not a high volume shipper, they mainly deal with digital stuff thus they will not be able to get shipping rates like amazon other other high volume shippers.

Edited by Xero: 7/7/2022 11:34:38 PMThis is a good point to consider as well. Worked a third party call center where the campaign was for Canada Post delivery status in the past (I don't recommend staying there longer than one can tolerate - they say "going postal" as a joke, but after a while, you go "Oh I get it now") Anywho, Canada Post tends to charge for package delivery primarily by weight, package size, and distance from one postal area to another. Then if you want faster delivery, they charge extra, on top of other features they provide like securing it in case it gets lost (pay an extra amount as the sender to guarantee receiving some funds back in the event something goes wrong). I don't think this is something Bungie can overly control, (at least thinking of Canada Post, it's Crown owned so taxes don't go to it, and they set their own regulations) and more specifically, since this is their largest item in store (and provided by what looks like "third party", not a partner) there are probably miscellaneous fees that add up on top of however international postal service rates go. It's just unfortunate, that the cost goes beyond the item price, and there are no options to wait longer given the delay(s) that are expected with international mailing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Of course they won't get those rates, but getting this shows they don't know what they are doing. There are number of things they could have done to bring it down. Booking stuff online and negotiating terms with suppliers aren't the same thing

Supply chain Lol If you think that’s expensive try working at

my little man, I have been working in it for 15 years. If bungie gives you the shipping prices that is avaiable to the random consumer, then they did not try to get a better deal while they can but they are just shipping it with regular rates not corporate. People are justifying it with the rates they got from freight forwarders from their home computer for a single package they send. do you have any other "smart" remarks?

Wow can’t believe you thought I was serious Didn’t even finish talking
