I think with how easy it is to farm duality for the god roll weapons, making the weapons craftable will give you no reason to even play the dungeon anymore. Which goes together with the problem of adept weapons from vow (and likely future raids) to have 0 purpose thanks to crafting. I think crafting brings alot of issues along with it and while I think it would be a short term gain but a long term loss, I believe that crafting should stay out of dungeons. Though of course bungie could disagree with me and put crafting into the next dungeon, but I believe they wont.

  • But there would be a reason to play if the deepsight weapons dropped in dungeons. If you need 5 to unlock the pattern that’s at least 5 dungeon runs per weapon IF someone is that lucky to unlock a pattern in 5 runs. But they’re not so there’s even more runs to unlock. I’d say that’s enough times to play the dungeons.

  • I think majority of players will disagree with you because the drop rate for the dungeon weapons are awful in all encounters. The boss cp is meh because it gives you 2 chances to get weapons but the weapon drop chance is 10%. I have been farming duality for a specific roll on most of the weapons and can't get it the one i want most to drop with the combo I want. They should have made them craft-able because up to this point I would have most of them with the roll I want
