No one cares about your stats
-
Teams aren’t random. Stats are horribly used, but are used to match a “freelance” lobby off performances. A really good performing player doesn’t get another good player on their team unless most people in the lobby are high performing players. Aka You just don’t get matched with the same people because of their ranking, there still is a team balancing mechanic using stats

5 RepliesPeople like seeing their stats. Let’s them see visible growth when they improve or let’s them go for goals. Games already adopted the kda nonsense so bad players can feel better about themselves, do we really need to go further down that rabbit hole of we’re all winners
-
That’s a very well thought out and compelling argument.
-
Because you do bad, you don't want people to see? Is that what this is about?
-
Yeah, nah. Data is good, even though most won't be able to read them.

4 RepliesThe stats tend to give a good indication of what someone is actually doing in a game. The numbers do not lie so why hide them.

2 RepliesEdited by A_mo: 7/2/2022 9:14:25 PMEasily the most tone deaf PvP post all week. Sometimes I really wonder what game people are playing.

3 RepliesEdited by Interpol89: 7/2/2022 11:33:23 PMPeople who make these posts have really weird stats. For example, look at the OP’s stats in trials. He was either throwing matches on purpose, or he was trying to win trade.

5 Repliesbro i assure you the 24/7 constant complaints about unfair matches they do not track stats
-
Why ?
-
So basically you can’t handle being -blam!-. Ok
-
But how else do I measure my e-peen. It's not very big but I'm proud of what I can do with it 😤

1 ReplyThe 0.6 K/Ds must be feeling a little insecure.

2 RepliesWhat?

6 RepliesWhere's the proof that they don't use stats to match make?
-
6 RepliesThere is no QuickPlay. Bungie removed this queue one year ago when gamers wanted to choose their match type. They were leaving a match as soon as it began. Matchmaking was not quick anymore. Bungie’s solution to improve matchmaking time was crossplay. QuickPlay was a short-lived queue that provided random Control and Clash matches through a queue. It is long gone and never coming back. The name does NOT refer to the speed at which matchmaking occurs. Control has replaced QuickPlay. Read the description before you click on the queue.

They have stopped showing it in a bunch of modes. Last season, they came up with a super cool way to quickly size up your team. The intro page was attractive and useful. Now, it’s going to waste in some modes, particularly iron banner, zone control, rumble, and probably others I omitted. Stats are good. I hope they put them everywhere.
