After having issues with the XBOX Game Pass app version of Destiny 2 on PC, I decided to try it on Steam. After installing the game, I am having a problem with CrossSave characters not being there when I launch the game on the platform. As you can see on the attached picture, I have (apparently) successfully set up CrossSave with my XBOX, PS, and Steam accounts being linked. My characters for this CrossSave setup from my PS account, who I also normally play on XBOX all the time, are there in the picture, namely one of each class with 1500+ Light Level and various newer emblems. However, when I launch the game on Steam, logged into the account you can see on the CrossSave tab part of the image, I am shown two 1350 characters with old emblems that are not the ones I use on my CrossSave setup, but with the correct username and # number present. What has happened here? How do I make my CrossSave characters show up here? Should I try to reinstall the game?
It might be worth noting that this Steam account was used for another (accidentally f-ed up) CrossSave setup, but I went through the process of disabling CrossSave on the other account and unlinking it and everything, which you can see by the fact that it is currently linked to this localfejes username. So it does not seem to be an issue of me using the wrong CrossSave account or anything like that.

1 ReplyHow recently did you unlink your Steam account from that other cross-save setup? Anytime that cross-save is deactivated, all of the involved platform accounts are put into a mandatory 90 day cooldown period, before they can used in another cross-save activation. If it has not been 90 days since you deactivated that prior setup, then that would be why your Steam account is not actively involved in your current setup. Feel free to read through the article linked below, for more info on cross-save, and the policies surrounding its use: https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide
