Champions. Do you think they are fine or need to go?

Champions are fine.

Remove them.

I have a love hate with them. On one side, I like the challenge cause killing weak dregs gets tedious and annoying and damaging champs charges super faster. On the other hand. I don't like so much end game content having them, forcing you into the same loadouts over and over. Example: Anti Barrier Pulse and Unstoppable Scout when I want to use my damn Vex Mythoclast lol. What is your guys' opinions? I am truly curious.

So just coordinate with the team to ensure the group has it all covered then you can run an extra weapon that you want to.

They are interesting, in concept and theory only. However, locking interactions with them behind selected weapons Bungie allow you to use (rip AB sidearm) each season is just all sorts of bad. Not to mention the sheer amount of bugs related to them. They just are another lingering failed concept in my opinion.

  • Champions is artificial difficulty. A difficulty that have a lot of bugs. Overload ones often don't stun with solar grenades. Barrier could kill you in two shots and activate barrier while shooting at you. Also barrier servitors rays of shield goes through objects. In the end. Champions broken and must be removed permanently. Champions one of most worst ideas Bungie ever had.

The concept is good. The idea of punishing you by locking the ways to deal with them behind specific weapon types / mods is bad.

    • Neither, just fix them.

    • I believe the problem are not the Champions themselves, but the Mods/Weapons mechanics needed to stun them. This is what Bungie should change, in my opinion.

    • Champions can stay BUT the seasonal model-artifact needs to change. Players should have the option to put whatever Champion mods on whatever gun they choose. This would allow more freedom in loadout choice and ultimately freshen things up.

    • Id say they’re okay when not in bunches like bungie loves to do sometimes. But the whole system needs a tweak, and overloads teleporting 50 times in 2 seconds can get annoying.
