This happens again and again and again. What upsets me is that bungie was quick to fix exploits in the dungeon. But this game-breaking bug is still there.
What's even more upsetting is that I did end up solo'ing the dungeon after dealing with this bug countless times, yet it didn't count!!! When I asked why it didn't, I was told that I had to do the dungeon in ONE SITTING!!! OK, so not only do I have to put up with this bug; I also have to go through the extremely unhealthy undertaking of doing the entire dungeon in one sitting?? Why??? Can't I take a break? Won't going AFK for a quick break kick me to orbit and I have to start all over again??
I've just about had it with Bungie!!
Sorry for the rant, but this has ruined several flawless runs and still hasn't been addressed.

[/quote] Hey hey, Bungie really cares about your mental health and they want you to know "it's okay to not be okay"

Edited by 尺のムひ乇アノ乙乙ム: 6/15/2022 11:53:59 PMHonest advice is don't stand so close to the bell. Bungies dogshite coding/set up made a small ring around 50(in game)cm around the bell that doesn't count as a safe zone because the bell itself isn't a safe zone My issue is the freakin architects...

1 ReplyStop trying to flawless it. Thank me later 👍
-
Bump. It’s completely -blam!- stupid that you can’t take a break.
-
3 RepliesThe whole flawless challenge is stupid, it shouldn’t even exist considering how flawed the games physics and bugs are.
-
13 RepliesThis bug does not allow players to exploit and cheese the seasonal grind so it's low on priority. Kind Regards, Bungle Support
-
2 RepliesYea this dungeons pretty dodgy, makes me think devs programmed this with their noses. Between you and me, do solo for the triumph and boosted chance for the sword and wait on solo flawless. I spent way too much time and sanity on this poop, its just a game after all.

skill issue

1 ReplyI dont think dungeons can kick for AFK. Ive been AFK in glykon dungeon/exotic mission for like an hour once when i went to the store and i was still there when i came back.

Annoying? Yes. But every death is a learning experience, so if you ever die to it again, that's your fault. I spent 4 hours learning to solo Caitl, and that came with a lot of deaths, but I used those deaths as a learning experience so when I made it to her on my flawless attempt, I had a smooth run. No bells killing me. No backpacks blowing me up. No booping me off the map. No getting slowed mid-air and jumping to my death. But the feeling you get when it's finished is something else. Keep trying my guy!

They made it so we had to run the whole dungeon in one sitting because, ppl would take the last check point of the dungeon boss and solo it. Back than it would count as you soloing the entire dungeon. This is their way of fixing this issue. To make us do the whole dungeon in one entire go, without breaks.

5 RepliesIt’s been solo’s flawless in 21 minutes
-
4 RepliesYou died because you were physically touching the bell. Don't do that. Solo and/or Flawless is always done in a single sitting. What did you honestly think after seeing there isn't a checkbox per encounter?
-
5 RepliesYou're standing too close to the bell haha. I don't know if it's a bug or not, but if you back off the bell just a step or 2, it's not as likely to happen.
-
1 ReplyYes because treating Bungie by nonstop swearing and cussing is definitely going to get you help. It’s kids like you that give this forums a terrible name.
-
yes....the bug does need to be fixed just as fast as any exploit has been.
-
2 RepliesEdited by GalaxySpider: 6/13/2022 10:25:12 AMYou always had to do solo runs in one sitting for every dungeon which had solo-triumphs. Loading checkpoints doesn't count.
-
2 RepliesDial it down a notch mate. It’s just a computer game.
-
Yeah, the one sitting thing is bull -blam!-.
-
I saw the bell and IMMEDIATELY knew what was about to happen.
-
Edited by KRoMXiTo: 6/13/2022 10:48:20 AMI completed solo flawless. My advice: it didnt teleport you because you were on the limit (too close to the bell) Stay within the circled area but not just at the bell. Separate just 2 steps from it. It worked for me
-
1 ReplyThat literally just happened to me, I spent hours working through it and then I beat it and I didn't get the solo thought stealer triumphant....
-
Edited by Axolotl_Roadkill: 6/13/2022 8:50:27 AMYou can take short breaks between the encounters. Unlike Grasp or Prophecy it doesn't allow a breather during the boss encounter but that's just the way it is. If the activity is that taxing on you you better abstain.
-
16 RepliesSolo flawless is a one sitting deal, its doable easy without stress in about an hour, just be aware of your surroundings.
-
Edited by QUIET INFINITY: 6/13/2022 7:57:38 AMit takes around 2 hours to solo it why would you need long breaks for that? And if gaming is unhealthy for you maybe get an other hobby. In elder scrolls you also have to do the flawless title in one sitting, its normal
-
9 RepliesSolo/flawless dungeons have always had to be done in one sitting
