I really wanna see the stories and tales of why you chose your answer, (also Im a stasis warlock HAHAHHHAHAHAH). Also nova bomb vortex is just so bad in PvP I didn't mention it. Tbh in my personal tier of these is:
#7 chaos reach
#6 nova bomb cataclysm
#5 stormtrance: landfall
#4 nova warp
#3 daybreak (solar 3.0)
#2 stormtrance: ionic blink
#1 winter wrath ❄️
If your skilled with nova warp or day break:
#6 chaos reach (why Bungie)
#5 nova bomb cataclysm
#4 stormtrance: landfall
#3 stormtrance: ionic blink
#2 daybreak
#1 nova warp and winters wrath tied

Its required MASSIVE buffs to get people to start using it again last summer. In the hands of a skilled player? Dawnblade. Especially if its an outdoor map, and they can leverage their mobility and verticality advantage. They can be very hard to hit...and it can almost be impossible to get away from their super if they've seen you. In the history of the game? Destiny 1 Sunsinger (Solar Warlock) The Sunsinger super let you spam grenades...and fusion grenades OHK back then. So being within grenade toss distance of one runnign fusion grenades was practically suicidal. You might as well take on a dragon. They could also self-rez by using their super. So a dead Warlock didn't always STAY dead. You could get entire team wipes by just playing dead, until they forgot about you....then triggering your super to rez yourself in the middle of their team. You'd create such chaos that most of the time they couldn't effectively fight back. Because they were dead before they could manage to figure out what was happening.
