I really wanna see the stories and tales of why you chose your answer, (also Im a stasis warlock HAHAHHHAHAHAH). Also nova bomb vortex is just so bad in PvP I didn't mention it. Tbh in my personal tier of these is: #7 chaos reach #6 nova bomb cataclysm #5 stormtrance: landfall #4 nova warp #3 daybreak (solar 3.0) #2 stormtrance: ionic blink #1 winter wrath ❄️ If your skilled with nova warp or day break: #6 chaos reach (why Bungie) #5 nova bomb cataclysm #4 stormtrance: landfall #3 stormtrance: ionic blink #2 daybreak #1 nova warp and winters wrath tied

Nova Warp when used right is downright terrifying. It’s probably one of the only close range supers that I’m scared of fighting. Thankfully most people don’t know how to use this super and just spam the dark blink rather than pairing it with blink or glide. Back when I used to play PvP consistently, Nova warp is probably the main thing that would tempt me to switch to being a warlock main. I get more kills on that super on average than I do with any other Warlock, Hunter, or Titans super. It’s pretty damn satisfying too lol Dawnblade and shadebinder are tied for 2nd strongest (a very close 2nd)

  • A competent well user. Placed in the right spot, with someone that uses it properly, it slays out more than all the rest.

Out of the box, Nova Warp is the hardest to counter. Which is why Bungie nerfed into a state of uselessness years ago. Its required MASSIVE buffs to get people to start using it again last summer. In the hands of a skilled player? Dawnblade. Especially if its an outdoor map, and they can leverage their mobility and verticality advantage. They can be very hard to hit...and it can almost be impossible to get away from their super if they've seen you. In the history of the game? Destiny 1 Sunsinger (Solar Warlock) The Sunsinger super let you spam grenades...and fusion grenades OHK back then. So being within grenade toss distance of one runnign fusion grenades was practically suicidal. You might as well take on a dragon. They could also self-rez by using their super. So a dead Warlock didn't always STAY dead. You could get entire team wipes by just playing dead, until they forgot about you....then triggering your super to rez yourself in the middle of their team. You'd create such chaos that most of the time they couldn't effectively fight back. Because they were dead before they could manage to figure out what was happening.

I'd say someone who is actually good and I mean really damn good with Nova Warp if the most devastating super to play against especially after void 3.0 gave it access to Devour and suppression grenades. Most people don't think so. They hear Nova Warp and think, meh easy shotty punch, but with a good Nova Warp, you won't get the chance. They have the same if not even more speed than Dawnblade without the need to be floating around in the air if you use Blink/Astrocyte. You can bait and outplay almost any super in the game, even 1-and-dones like Nova Bomb, Fart missile etc. You can squad wipe, dual or just lock down an entire area by yourself and you don't even need to use the super bomb persay, you can just as easily use your speed and grenades before the Nova explosion even comes into play. Good Nova Warp players are few and far between, me not be one of them 😂. A little insight as to why I didn't choose the others
Dawnblade is good, but better if you just have to get somewhere really fast. Tickle fingers is meh, as is chaos Reach. I find those better for 6v6 party modes like mayhem or something. Might be good in rift too... Haven't tried yet. Nova Bomb... I mean, usually it whifs and I can be confident that half the time, the Warlock will panic bomb and usually kill himself too. Shadebinder can be amazing but it has no movement speed leaving it easily killed and the lethality of that super is based on whether or not your ice balls decide to actually track and not just go off and do their own thing. When it works, it really works but the rest of the times it's 🤪. Well is also a good choice, but you are limited to the rift and you don't have any protection like Bubble does. It is fun winning slap fights though.
Stasis, largely because unless you 500 IQ the enemy or get very lucky, theres not much you can do
