Sure, let's have one group of players always be the big dogs and another group always feed em sometimes I doubt if modern schools mixed the ability of logical thinking with being able to raise irrelevant senseless comparison that doesn't even make sense in its own context you'd know right?

  • Complaining about this is like going to the olympics having never trained for it, and then complaining that it's always the same "big dogs" (the people that actually practiced) winning. Except that's not even always the case in trials. Sometimes you run into big dogs in trials. Sometimes. That's just the nature of a competitive mode. You're eventually going to run into people better than you. Does losing suck? Sure. Practice and get over it. If that's not fun to you, then stop playing it.

  • It’s a video game, not the olympics.

  • No duh. Ever heard of an analogy? I could substitute any type of competition in place of the Olympics. The point is the same. Sometimes people are better than you in competitions and you get -blam!- on.

  • You should relax. It’s a video game, and you’re getting quite worked up. Take a few breaths.

  • I don’t agree with the comparison of a video game to the Olympics. But, that’s just me.
That's just the nature of a competitive mode.
LMFAO someone clearly hasnt played CSGO, Siege or Valorant..... all 3 are way more competitive than Trials and they ATLEAST aim to match teams of equal skill not just dump the top ranks against bottom ranks like trials is doing. Thats literally the dumbest -blam!- ive read in awhile. you lot just dont want to talk about the Elephant in the room and that is the Flawless mechanic is the issue. bungie cannot maintain a health match up with Flawless being a thing, remove flawless, go down a ranking system and tie rewards to ranks earned and give people meaning in when they play. Sorry if your opinion is different but reality is bungie have to remove flawless if they want trials to be worth playing for everyone.

  • Heard about Destiny 2's Crucible being the laughing stock of an attempt to become an e-sport, but it seems some people just will never understand I guess. Some have that ornate-building or golden-dragonette mentality.

no ones asking for D2 to become an e-sports title, it never will until they remove aim assist which wont happen. but a ranking system would suit trials more as its very easy to tie rewards to those ranks earned and for potential wins and win streaks along the way. whilst also having the benefit of acting as a SBMM when you tie ranks to skill internally like CSGO, Siege Valorant. Flawless honestly cannot be kept in trials with open matchmaking because by design its meant to allow for "win streaks" which defeats the purpose of balanced lobbies.

  •
LMFAO someone clearly hasnt played CSGO, Siege or Valorant...
Same energy as "Clearly you don't own an air fryer.". ^ Trials isn't just dumping top ranks on low ranks 24/7. It's just match ups that happen sometimes. That's why the flawless pool was quite helpful for lower rank players. As I said in my post, it happens sometimes. Just like how you sometimes run into smurfs in CSGO, Valorant, or Siege. No ranking system is perfect. Focus on improving and understand you're gonna get -blam!- on sometimes. Just like in any game.
Focus on improving and understand you're gonna get -blam!- on sometimes. Just like in any game.
lmao you honestly havent played any of those games to think its "that easy" because it aint. heck go ask some pro league players just how hard they train for games that actually reward skill. they train at least 8+ hours a day and you think "people" will train to same extent and improve to the same extent in D2 as you might in other games. Your honestly delusional if you think just saying "focus on improving" is the issue here because news flash it isnt..... trials is like throwing a 5yr old kid into the deep end of the pool and telling them "learn to swim" while its infested with sharks lol thats literally what trials amounts to and no amount of improving will fix what is wrong with trials so please get that mentality out of your head because its genuinely bad and distasteful to the players when you fob it off as something "trivial" as "just focus on improving" lmao seriously.

  • Kind of seems like an extremely pessimistic and exaggerated way to look at the situation. But aight. Not really gonna say anything else cause you’ll basically respond with “No.”.

  • Sick of being fodder? -STOP making excuses and admit you're your biggest problem. -PRACTICE it will take time, you're not gonna stroll into trials with a negative KD and suddenly be good. -Farm for ideal perk weapons and reasonable stat armour. -develop a weapon combination you're comfortable with. -Get tf over yourself and use lfg. -Make your own lfg with your own requirements and or expectations. -TURN YOUR MIC ON, the sheer amount of people that could have beaten any of my teams but didnt because they clearly didnt communicate is astounding. You all literally refused to play the game mode for YEARS and now expect to be good at it and never have to fight the ones who never stopped playing it? You're clowns begging for hand outs.
STOP making excuses and admit you're your biggest problem.
Say that to Legends going against bottom of the barrel players Practice is basically impossible if your literally thrown into the deep and told to float on your own (lets see how far you get in life with that mentality) Practice can only be achieved if your gradually pushed past your boundaries but being slapped in the face and told "beat the top players as a bottom player" yh practice wont do -blam!- mate so get that idea out of your head.
Get tf over yourself and use lfg. -Make your own lfg with your own requirements and or expectations.
LFG SHOULD NOT BE A REQUIREMENT....... period. I have nothing else to say on that stupid statement.
TURN YOUR MIC ON
"turn your mic on" lmao I've played with 2 stacks as a solo and not one has EVER used comms.... so dont blame just solo's on this part because duo stacks do it too.
You all literally refused to play the game mode for YEARS and now expect to be good at it and never have to fight the ones who never stopped playing it? • But you don’t have to practice in trials. Elim and comp are ways to hone your skills and find a team. I’ve made plenty of friends in comp that I still play with today… I’m terrible at pve so I’m not just gunna run into gms and master vogs and complain that bungie made the game to hard or the blueberries I got in an lfg are bad or whatever. I agree with the guy; take accountability for the way I play. When I lose…what could I have done better, how could I have supported or communicated with my team more efficiently? Or am I missing something?

  •
Elim and comp are ways to hone your skills and find a team.
As mentioned before, no amount of training will help the core problem with trials which is bungie putting bottom skilled players with top skilled players. practice takes time and thats even IF you go a long routine like several hours a day to improve on aim control, aim tracking, reflexes etc. I do this daily with Siege and its VERY VERY difficult to maintain. practice will seriously only get you so far based on your previous skill level, you cannot expect a bottom tier player to go play elim or comp (taken away from trials) just so they have a marginal chance at facing top tier players. fix the MM and match teams accordingly with similar skill, flawless as a mechanic simply does not work in trials with open matchmaking now and bungie need to realise this.
