The three things that need some more focus in destiny 2
Destiny 2 has been a wild ride up until recently, however while we have made some progress there are some things that appear to be neglected, i'd just like to highlight these topics
PVP: When i say PvP i'm not on about just crucible, but overall PvP sandbox balance hasn't been touched in forever...Special weapons like Shotguns like Dust Rock Blues and Fusion Rifles like Erentil feel way too powerful to the point where if you run certain heavy weapons you're at a disadvantage. Supers last way too long and can ruin the entire feel for a match.
Certain weapons in the crucible also feel way too powerful, i mentioned previously how Erentil and DRB feel too powerful due to their respective perk and stat strengths, but if you ask me there's three more issues, Two of them being weapons...These are Recluse and Mountaintop
I love my recluse, i really do but if you pair it with a one shot kill grenade launcher and continue to spam Mountaintop the entire game... it's a problem (And no the weapons quest does not make it exempt from adjustments, like i used to say for Lunas and NF "Just because you grinded for a weapon, does not make it exempt from nerfs)
And... One eyed mask, you know why...
Grind: When we were told that destiny was going to cater to its more hardcore audience, many of us wished for feelings like the good days of destiny 1... however this Solstice event is entirely in the wrong ideals.
No one expects people to grind this out in a week, but....What made Destiny appeal to hardcore players was the raid mechanics and the mix between challenging content
Yes, there was a grind for certain rewards...Like Raze Lighter or Thorn, but the difference between the Solstice grind and those quests was the quantity, we only had to do these quests with one requirement at a time
Solstice requires 5 requirements two times!! Destiny needs raid levels of hardcore for that content, these armour sets are important and cool but would you rather earn that or a Gjallarhorn for less time?
Difficulty: i'll keep this short, Destiny PvE needs a drastic increase in difficulty...you shouldn't be able to 1 phase a raid boss
