I came back after TFS and voice chat has not worked once. Text chat has worked fine until today so I assumed it wasn’t a parental controls issue (especially since the bungie site said there was nothing set up on my account). Figured it was a network issue. Turned UPnP on, didn’t fix it; turned off my router’s firewall, didn’t fix it; opened up the ports that I was able to (spectrum routers don’t allow you to open up a range of ports so the upper range of 15k ports i couldn’t do anything with), didn’t work; changed DNS, uninstalled, reinstalled, turned all the settings off then on again, rebooted everything etc., nothing. Now I have no way of seeing text chat. I just wrote a lot of words for an experiment, but if this posts then I’m still convinced it’s not parental controls. What else can I try? Im at the point of quitting if I can’t get this worked out. It’s been bad enough having to type everything out on my controller (whoops, I’m on PS5 btw) but if I can’t communicate at all? I’m done. Halp.
