I personally think some time should be spent on restoring old expansions back into the game so that new players don't have to start off coming in at Shadowkeep.
The Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken. Bring them back. Without them Destiny just feels like it has a gap in a bridge. It's hard to even invite players into the game without telling them they can't start at the beginning of D2

It doesn't need to be all the activities or destinations but to be a New Light currently and experience the last 1/3 of the story as your beginning point is terrible for engagement. Lets hope we can get the original story back in the game in some form that is playable and easy for a new player to digest, while also having some nostalgia for older players. Long time players are leaving, and being jaded to how the game is/was means they are less likely to return as shown with the recent expansion, so they need to attract and keep new players if they want the population to rise instead of drop.
