Void splash damage from bosses is STILL overtuned.

They spam it too fast or it does too much damage for how quickly they spam it. Fire rate or damage needs to be reduced. It’s incredibly annoying to deal with a vex boss on anything expert or higher.

  • They needed a D3, design limitations of a game showing its age. Probably far too complex and expensive to upgrade ai etc just turn up the spam, its cheap and easy.

  • Not only from bosses. I'm noticing since the release of TFS all void damage is way too high. Even in low-level content.

    My friend sent me a clip of an overload Minotaur literally machine gunning its void shots in the exotic mission. Never seen anything like that and it was hilarious lol

  • haha yeah, getting one shot from a cyclops from across the map is funny and frustrating. encore expert buffed them like crazy

    Ran the exotic mission on expert yesterday. The splash damage killing you while you’re completely behind cover was….interesting 😂

    • Maybe try not sitting in one spot expecting to insta kill a boss and not get hit. Try moving outa the way?

    • It may not be an issue you are having, but I found if my NAT type is moderate, I lag slightly behind gameplay, which makes the shots fired by mobs seem way faster. This is on xbox, once I test NAT a couple times and get it open again, gameplay is normal again. An option to check anyways. (This problem is obviously seperate from gameplay or programming problems, NAT is basically a connection problem)
