Keep in mind they are not an item, just a permission to change one's name. To change one's name the new name must be in alignment with the Code of Conduct and Bungie name policy. It is worth noting that while they did fix the issue, some names that were impacted are still not able to be selected as they were before. Bungie is investigating that. You can either wait for Bungie to implement a fix for previously moderated names or change your name to a variant of your previous name.

3 RepliesI wouldn't hold your breath - within 10 minutes of the reset I saw a player running around the Cosmodrome named after a central character's -blam!- And YET, people who's screen names weren't even offensive are still waiting for name change tokens. A little -blam!- consistency wouldn't go amiss, Bungo...

They're progressing towards solutions as we speak. Seriously, they need to fix this. It's a constant and glaring reminder of incompetence. Unfortunately, Bungie avoids this forum like the plague. They don't want to see any truth, it harshes their buzz. Sony spies? You paying attention? See above and make them get on it.
