You know things like raids, comp ranks having everything in terms of upgrades depending on these stupid seasonal mods and whatever weapon set you decide to let players use in a season is KILLING your game. Remember Bungie actually saying we don't want players standing at the back of the map with a scout rifle in pve.....Where did that go? Seriously dare you answer that? There was a reason that wasn't wanted in the game so who decided to bring that to be the end game?

For fcuk sake, for once, answer to all the complaints about broken SBMM. Stop looking busy and do something useful.

Have them make the extra bounties that can be purchased from Banshee drop a core on completion. It would go a long way and allow a simple and direct way to farm them. You guys get a continued grind and high cost that stays the same and the entire player base would have a way to earn as many cores as they want in a week if they are playing.

The whole upgrade path is worse than it was. With the prism and shards you have to spend alot more enhancement core to master work than before. The only reason I can think you added that was so people that wanted to masterwork easily could just buy the battle pass because they hand out enough to masterwork a piece or two of armor without having to grind the "harder" playlists. Now you want us to spend the equal amount just to change affintys on a single piece? This armor system would be better if it only cost maybe some glimmer and an upgrade module. Give us the freedom we are all asking for. This system could be great if we could play how we want when we want. Keep the cost of slotting new mods low, ability to flip affinity on the fly, seasonal mods permanently unlocked on all armor, and cost of master working using enhancement core only.

The extra grind and restrictions that elemental affinity brings is not needed. You already grind for materials to upgrade armor, grind for rolls that you want for your build and the energy system on the armor is there so we can't make overpowered builds. So my question is this, why does the dev team feel that elemental affinity needs to stay? What purpose does it serve?

Why are you and the developers making so much drama about this? You create a situation where the player needs a 1000 Whatevers to do this or do that, and now you want to muck about creating more place to get Whatevers. Just reduce the 1000 number! OK? It's in one line of code somewhere. Find it and change it!

Or you know, just make the changes cost 2 upgrade materials and leave whatever the players have put into the armor alone. Just a thought people could probably get behind and not be upset about...

Upgrade modules, Enhancement Prisms, and Ascendant Shards cost too many materials at the gunsmith so farming(aka RNG drops) are our only solution. More ways to earn these items in more game activities would be a good step.

I think the right way to go would be to change the weekly reward system because of that. Once you have completed the weekly milestones in the specific activity it has a change to drop materials (cores, prisms and very rarely even ascendent shards). We should collect those materials by playing along the entire activity board, not only in ordeal nightfalls.

Now we have to spend even more to get these new ones or run constant Nightfalls. Just to UPGRADE armor. Example: Today's gunsmith prices 1 Enhancement Core 10 Legendary 25 planetary mats 5,000 Glimmer For 1 upgrade module 10 Enhancement cores! 25 planetary mats 10,000 Glimmer For 1 Enhancement Prisim And the stupidest of them all 10 Enhancement prisims ( 100 cores! 250 mats, 100,000 glimmer!) Another 100 planetary mats And 50,000 glimmer For 1 Ascendant shard Just Stop adding unnecessary currencies to the freaking game!!!

You're right there. The overwhelming complaint was "too many cores" The solution? Add more cores. It's difficult to believe these people have any brains at all.

I have never had an ascendant shard drop from a Nightfall. I run it on Master difficulty on a regular basis. We get stuck using only one armor set because we can't upgrade other choices. Thanks for that.
