Year of Prophecy/ Silver help

Hello all, I’ve somewhat recently got back into the D2 grind. I wanted to buy the year of Prophecy dlc and noticed that it was worth 2000 silver. So I bought the $20 worth of 2000 silver but it’s now allowing me to acquire it. Did I get scammed or something? If I look at the final shape dungeon key it looks like I can acquire that as it says 2,300/2000. But when I go to the dlc that doesn’t appear. I was excited at first but now I’m just pissed again at Bungie.

  • Figured I would give an update on my circumstances. I attempted to request a refund through Mircosoft (xbox). It was immediately denied. I sent a long email with more details and more info about this situation for an appeal and that also got denied. Since bungie also doesn't give refunds. I can now officially say I've been scammed by bungie. To not have any warning in game or any pop up when in the Eververse store to warn anyone that this is a current problem is outright ridiculous. AND AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! Especially if they don't provide refunds. The fact I had to go online figure out where the "help" (this forum page) is and go through this as a help page. To then do more digging to find that they ADMIT that "Flipping through pages in the Expansions tab can cause a visual issue where some tabs display Silver prices over slots that hold items that cannot be bought with Silver." AND NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT?! Or not take any precautions for their costumers about this situation?! This is outright wrong. As one could tell I'm outright pissed off with Bungie. (and if they com ban me, it just proves my point even further). However, should I of been more skeptical about Silver being able to buy a DLC? Yes. But it has also been years and years since the last time I touched destiny. So thinking that one could buy a dlc with silver did seem plausible. Overall, I'm very annoyed about this whole situation. And I hope that no one else gets scammed by Bungie.
