1- Evaluate the response to Marathon. If the response is high, they have to move more workers to Marathon to secure more content and mantain the hype. Obviously future content for Destiny 2 can be in danger. 2 - If Marathon doesn't meet the objectives they will also have to rethink the future of Destiny 2 as number of players decline. In every way I don't think that Sony will be in the mood to invest more money in a game that doesn't give them the expected return. In this case we can only blame Bungie.
