Expert Conquest
Hey Bungie I think you turned up the difficulty on conquest without telling anyone...
I'm running a basic expert conquest and getting my -blam!- handed to me...
Every enemy is a bullet sponge and built like a tank...
I'm getting shot at from every direction without any let-up....
I'm at 550 and had no problem running Ultimates...
What gives?

It's probably due to: A) modifiers (galvanised as someone has already pointed out) B) Portal activities and Conquests have different power deltas but use the same nomenclature which might cause some confusion if you don't know about the power deltas.

Probably Galvanized 3 being active where they dont stagger and have more health.

Edited by EMUracing: 12/5/2025 4:43:57 PMConquests have a larger delta than standard Portal (of the same difficulty tier) if I remember correctly. So you will take more damage and deal less. Master conquests feel almost the same as Ultimate Portal if you strip away the mods (I think they are both -30).

When I did them last season, I was over leveled and did them before Bungie made that impossible. Maybe not being over leveled is causing the issue. I haven't tried them yet myself but am anticipating it being a pain, like a lot of this game these days.

Dude I ran sunless cell on expert and it did feel like the adds were hitting harder than they should have

6 RepliesYes difficulty is completely off, I loaded into an Expert Conquest hoping for a quick run for the GR, and my god it felt awful. There’s no way it’s consistent with EoF.
