Nope the portal killed any fun to be had with this game. At first it was a cool concept but it being the main way to play the game made Destiny 2 so boring to play. Tyson Green was a mistake.

I agree. My point has been missed entirely by a lot of people replying with similar comments. I’m not saying the game is good, great or shite as the portal and the featured gear modifier (avant garde) are shite and make the game unenjoyable to play. My whole initial post is about people posting on here who don’t play whatsoever but think their 10 cents is still relevant. If people don’t like the game then put it down and walk away, it’s not hard to do. -
Oh yeah for sure. I actually loved the Edge of Fate story but then I stopped playing before Ash and Iron dropped because it felt like a chore to play with the portal and all. When Ash and Iron dropped I really did try to enjoy it but I couldn't because nothing changed. I've played this game since D1 Beta and to see it like this breaks my heart because this used to be one of my favorite games. All my friends stopped playing pre Shadowkeep but i kept going. Hopefully Renegades will be good but considering we still have no state of the game as of now, I don't think anything will change.
