Curse was beaten down & not as far apart from the other dlcs as people say or believe, but edge is a lot better & it's not great by any stretch.
Imvho, taken king was the best dlc by far simply with it's aesthetic, & the mystique & potential the game had back then. Forsaken was decent too but came in year 5 & people were already jaded & it had massive issues like poor loot, a terrible release season, & lots of fetch quest parts. Everything else was mid at best, WQ was ok i guess.
Unpopular opinion, I thought Beyond Light was better than most people gave it credit for. The only reason it's remembered so vehemently is because it shipped with Sunsetting and the DCV.
Taken King, Forsaken, and Witch Queen were the only expansions i genuinely enjoyed playing pve content. When lightfall dropped i gave up caring for the story.

This. ^. 100%
Except I loved Neomuna. And strand. And the seasons of Lightfall.
Final Shape was meh. It was the culmination of the asinine direction the game has been taking since the end of Witch Queen.
I enjoyed it because of who I was playing the story with, not because of the content.
Played TFS with some of my oldest friends, I’ve been playing with since D1.
Not all of them, most have left. 😔
