That’s an issue with the console itself, not the game. The error code you’re seeing is a platform error code, not a Destiny 2 error. The error code can appear with any app / game on Xbox.
You’re playing on a console which is over 12 years old. It’s very likely your internal is dying as hard drives only have a lifetime of roughly five (5) years.
Your best solution and cheapest is to upgrade to the latest generation of Xbox consoles (Xbox Series S|X). You could repair your console but that won’t fix the fact it’s outdated and therefore slow.
For full support regarding platform errors, contact Xbox support. Bungie cannot help you with issues outside their property

In that case, probs best to back up the contents of my account so it’s ready for transfer onto a new device when I get hold of one? Thanks for keeping it open and honest with me on this matter. I’d rather go with getting a new console rather than overpaying for replacing the hard drive on an older device. I appreciate the honesty.

If you do plan on getting a new console (best solution), I recommend visiting the below link for full information regarding transferring your games / apps to your new console. Your Destiny 2 save is attached to your platform account, so the only thing you have to do there is log in with the same Microsoft account you use on Xbox One. Edited by Swat The Bot: 3/6/2025 1:26:17 PMJust going to add in a little bit more. If you're sticking with the Xbox platform, and you have physical games, the best console for you would be the Xbox Series X which is the best Xbox at the moment. If you're sticking with the Xbox platform but don't care for physical games and prefer everything to be digital (including movies), I would get the Xbox Series S which is cheaper but a less powerful than the Xbox Series X. Here are some links to help you decide. https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/consoles/xbox-series-s https://www.xbox.com/en-GB/consoles/xbox-series-X
