Could Lysander come back?
Look, the coup attempt was kinda dead on arrival once Saint took a step back and listened to Mithrax but they had me wondering, who in the past was close to completing a coup? Lysander.
For those who don’t know who Lysander is, he was the leader of the Concordant faction, a faction that was kicked out before we were revived in the Old Russia for causing the great faction war. Now, I don’t know if this was retcon but could Lysander somehow be important to the next season as I don’t think a coup will happen this season.
Edit: There are references here and there, the latest being in shadow keep, a name drop, but shows he’s still relevant.

5 RepliesThis is a theory of mine as well. I believe that Lakshmi will get FWC kicked out of the consensus and in a later season, probably not next season, lysander and the Concordat will show up since there will be an opening in the consensus. Also in season of dawn we learned that the Concordat was right about the speaker. Game wise, this could also be why bungie has put factions on hiatus and why FWC gear has been added to the loot pool since if the factions do return and concordat replaces FWC, then there will be no way to earn their gear.

6 RepliesI think he will show up after Lightfall sometime, if not slightly sooner. Some humanity vs humanity would be an interesting story though. That being said we can live in fear and know that Lysander... is the Rat King! Dun Dun Dunnnnnn!

1 ReplyConcordant wasn’t kicked out. New Monarchy slaughtered them. I do not say this in jest or exaggeration. Which leads me to believe the Concordant was into some shady shit.
