Resources from vaulted locations?
I have look everywhere and I cannot find one post, video or shard of info relating to what is happening to the resources from the locations that are getting vaulted? Does anyone have an idea about this?

2 RepliesWe will find out in the TWAB this week. I suspect they will become irrelevant, however, I could see them adding an exchange at the spider to turn in those materials for glimmer or legendary shards. We'll find out in 3 days for sure.

I've begun to spend them all. I figured that since these venues are going away, likely the materials will be deprecated into something useless. I doubt Bungie will give you something useful in exchange for them.

I just hand them into the vendors and get the engram for legendary shards. Of course I've kept like 500 of each.

Honestly, just vault them or exchange them all at spider. The same resource is most likely going to be used if/when it comes back as its part of that planet's "asset". Worse case scenario is bungie nukes all our resources (wouldn't be the first time they do this). In any case, I'm vaulting them like i vaulted my blue quality planetary items in case the resource glitch comes back.

Cosmo kept saying they will have more info on a later date, but here we are a few weeks out with no details. Worse case scenario, spend them all at the planetary vendor the day before launch and stock up on shards, prisms, and glimmer

It’s probably been said a hundred times (I didn’t sift through responses) but they’re addressing it next week. They still have many things to address in a short amount of time.

It really is insulting to the player base that Bungie is waiting until the week before stuff gets vaulted to go into detail about what's going to happen.

The future is rapidly approaching, with little more than two weeks to go until beyond light launch. As someone in the community pointed out in a response to my reply to this week's TWAB, this suggests bad news. Why else would they wait so long? I've personally traded in my mats to 1k or less of each vaulted mat. That's down from 3-4k at shadowkeep launch. Bungie could easily end the speculation, but they seem to like to drip feed this kind of info. They seem to think it lessens the impact. Brace yourself, guardian. The next couple of TWABs are likely to be doozies.
