Nerfing of 600rpm ain't gonna cut it... no matter how many playtest bungie did....
One match in crucible is going to show that 600rpm is going to be super newbie easy mode to use. No matter the buff of hand canon ranges.
And what the heck happend too the much needed 180rpm hc buff?

1 ReplyI often get outgunned with my Randy's Throwing Knife by auto rifles at distances where the scout rifle should win. I definitely agree with an AR range nerf for PvP. But this would also affect PvE. I wish Bungie would have PvP and PvE seperately.

The 180 HC meta had its time in the sun , now we need a pulse rifle meta -
3 Replies600's need a range nerf/ dmg fallout nerf imo. The range that these guns can dual Scouts and pulse rifles is absolutely bonkers especially if you're running a 0 recoil Gnawing or Summoner. On a side note, can someone honestly tell me why scout rifles even exist in this game considering bows do their job but better in most instances? You can also argue the same for Smgs vs Sidearms, where Sidearms are clearly better in close range engagements.

I'd rather them attempt this middle ground than nerf them into oblivion. I love HCs. I hate auto metas. 140 RPM HCs have never been meta on console either so I'd love to see that. But I'm not gonna sit here and wish for what could be someone's favorite weapon to be nerfed into the ground.

1 Reply600's were a 0.9 ttk back before the buff and most considered them trash. They're going to be around a 0.8 ( down in ttk lethality from 0.7 ) after the incoming nerf. A bit better than before when they were " trash " and a bit worse than they currently are. I think this will be a good place for them and believe many will agree with me after they actually see the difference the damage reduction has.

Handcannons, including 180s, are getting some of their range back. 150s turning into 140s is gonna be a headache but players will adapt and they’ll find that they can compete with 600 auto rifles. Just wait and see.
