Lost all of my saved data on console but when i check cross save it says it still exists
Hi i've had this issue since i recently installed d2 again when the Halloween event started but i haven't been able to play d2 due to it just being stuck on the loading screen before you normally would choose your character, the game isn't able to load up that option for me an whenever i check the game in "manage games and add ons" it says theres no saved data of the game on my xbox but when i look on the bungie cross save to see if my data is gone it says its still there.

Hey there! Your saved data is stored on Bungie’s servers. You may want to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]clear your console cache[/url] to see if that helps resolve your issue. If that does not help, you will want to uninstall the game, [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]clear your console cache[/url], and reinstall the game. You may also want to move Destiny 2 onto an external hard drive. Otherwise, vice-versa if on external.

Your characters are still there. They are stored on the servers not locally on your system which is why you don’t see them when you go to manage games and add ons. It sounds like your actually having trouble connecting to Bungie servers if you aren’t getting to the character select screen. Are you receiving any error codes? What happens if you wait awhile?
