What’s the point of 140rpm snipers in PvP?

When compared to 90rpm snipers, 140s basically sacrifice: range, double body shots Body shot cleanup combos OHK supers (even with box breathing) For what? A small amount of extra aim assist (barely any over beloveds 68) With the zoom changes coming in beyond light, 140 snipers with their generally lower zoom and range stats are going to suffer more than any other archetype...

Even by d2 standards you havent seen a barn door head hitbox before having used an opening shot double sniper targeting mod stacked 35 zoom twilight oath. Plus the 35 zoom flinch with double enchanced unflinching mods. Got a clip where I headshot a v-wing from 20-ish meters between the bursts when he was hitting them all on my head. Without compensating the flinch at all. It's nonexistent. Max handling (86-ish) roll is as fast as quickdraw. Targeting mods make it identical to snapshot. Even better with ophidians. Boxed breathing does 1-tap supers. Opening shot compensates the low range. Plus pairs wonderfully with cold denial. 1 burst from the pulse cleans up an oath body. This'll forever be my QP + survival sniper. Bungo'll have to pry it from my cold denied hands. Outside of that not much. The frame's in a bit of a spot vs adaptives. Probably even more so next season. Hoping all my hitbox cheese's enough to offset the aim assist / hitbox nerfs.
