I took at the twab today and... I agree with the changes ....

Honestly, I saw a lot of good things, mainly because this was a very CRUCIBLE based TWAB and we have not gotten one of those in a LONG time. This is a good thing that has been NEEDED for a while now as Crucible is just as much a part of the game as PVE love it or hate it it's still there, now the fact that Bungie has made. But let me make one thing clear about the crucible, or any PVP game mode. However, before I have a few things regarding PVP as a whole, And if PVP isn't your bag then honestly that's fine but I'm just happy that this part of the game is getting some love and attention. I mean this might be the tip of the iceberg and we may even get more PvE content as well such as factions and a raid. Imagine all of that content coming back to stay. However, the majority of the expansions for this game have been so Pve focused its mind-boggling. I mean D1's PVP was a lot better because people had every playlist available and even iron banner had unique gameplay playlists which made each iron banner even more special and unique and frankly I miss that. Trials of "-------" needed to give PVP players another thing to do aside from being in the comp playlist for the majority of the time (think about it you will have an easier time in competitive when trials roll around for the weekend. Hell, I've spent so much time in the Comp playlist over the past few months this leads me to a gun that never in my life would I think I would get and that was Luna's Howl. This was a personal achievement for me because for the majority of the quest I did it by myself, and It felt good to have it in my possession, ME, The PVP scrub with potatoes for fingers. If I can do it, so can you. anyone can improve and Now with most of the super meta weapons in the game getting the nerf hammer or at least reworked a tad nows your chance to go out there and find what guns work for YOU. what subclass works for YOU. some people said that my current warlock PVP build would never work out because I use empowering rift for it. All I have to say about builds is to try and avoid using the Meta because people are always expecting the meta, but when you pull weird shit out of the hat that people are not used to and have not seen in a while, It messes them up quite a bit. So guardians unless you are going into higher comp tiers Creativity is better than meta. because Meta gets the Bungie hammer. Anyway now that Snipers, in general, getting nerfed is not something I like but I can understand why after all firing line is a thing for PvE, but the adaptive nerf might serve well for crucible as well. Lord of wolves nerf was needed because that shit was getting out of hand. The last word had it coming for a while now, it is now the "hip fire" gun it was supposed to be, not to mention reducing its effective range and even reducing its stability on PC. Shotguns, shotguns, shotguns They got reworked in some way, don't know what way but I'm not sure. mainly with target acquisition being reworked for all frames that excluding slug shotguns, cone angle is no longer affected by range but by archetype, so methinks mind-benders may have gotten a bit of a nerf. So that's a good thing. Fusion rifles Yep you heard me Erentil has caught the nerf hammer, Backup plan has caught the nerf hammer essentially the damage of the rifle will now be lowered by backup plan to match the charge time, effects of Optics and the damage falloff floor has been reduced to .5x (was .75 x) these are the things that made Erentil in particular so "overpowered", but now it will have a much higher skill ceiling requiring timing. But on the bright side auto rifles have been given a substantial buff across the board, That means BREAKNECK IS BACK ON THE MENU Sure with the exception to the Izanagi adjustments, which aren't too bad IMO, in fact, it makes it even better for boss DPS sure you cant speed up the animation speeds with luna factions and barricades but there are ways to do it better (sniper rifle loader), as well as the heavy grenade launcher nerfs being addressed for PvE and its been a long time coming. Well not that I used them. Anyway, this has fun, thank you for coming to my Twab PSA, If you would like to discuss effective builds both PVE and PVP and how these weapon changes will change the current meta in PVP please feel free to chime in. Anyway have a good evening and may all you pvp matches end in your favor, regardless if you win or lose.
