I am on the East Coast, USA. I've been playing against people from around the world more frequently in recent months. Today, I played with/against an entirely Asian (with one possible exception) lobby. It was a clown fiesta. I've seen higher hit-rates from casino roulette wheels. I would shoot opponents in the face, only to have them disappear, reappear, and Arbalest me without my consent. At one point, I stood virtually on top of an enemy and executed [i]two[/i] Spectral Blades attacks--one light, one heavy--only to have both of them slam against his apparently Void-immune body as he gleefully went about his business. His teammate murdered me as I picked my jaw up from the floor. I don't know if the Supremacy playlist uses SBMM or connection-based. I don't care. There is no universe in which playing in a lobby with this much latency is acceptable. I would much rather wait 5-10 minutes to get a game that is not some theoretical demonstration of wormholes and spacetime with Guardians popping in and out of existence as I, a simple man, try to shoot them in the head. Bungie, PLEASE do something about this. I don't know if the matchmaking algorithms need to be fixed, if we need dedicated servers, or something else, but this is not only unenjoyable, it's unplayable.
