They really should just remove the shaders tab all together, and make all shaders immediately accessible, like mods currently are. Once you unlock that shader, you don’t have to keep reacquiring it, & you can just select it as needed. Apply this to all your weapons / armor / ghosts / ships / sparrows and you’re set..!
