New exotic Weapon of Sorrow : Anguish

Name: Anguish Kinetic Scout Rifle (uses Special Ammo) Impact: 85 Range: 65 Stability: 30 Handling: 65 Reload: 20 Rounds Per Minute: 120 Magazine: 3 “I was not the first of the Hive’s experiments. I am only a marker towards their true intentions. I fear I won’t be the last light they consume.” — Omar Agah Intrinsic Perk — Scry of Despair: This weapon will automatically load and fire a powerful Finality Round on a trigger pull that would land a final blow on an enemy. Legendary Trait — Feeding Anguish: This weapon does not reload automatically. Trigger pulls when this weapon is empty damage the wielder. Rapid kills with Finality Rounds has a chance to refill the magazine with Cursed Finality Rounds. Exotic Catalyst — Temptation: Holding reload when the magazine is filled with Cursed Finality Rounds will consume the magazine and refresh one of your abilities (grenade, melee, or class ability). Lore Tab: Put down your broken old rose, and let me tell you a story: It is did that in the bowls of the Pit, you will not find lowly heretics or forsaken hordes. But thy you will be greeted with wailing walls of forgotten gunsmiths. Upon their altars and anvils they work. The keys to their locks lost with the Son of the King. They slave away in endless isolation, to forge a new Sorrow’s Road. Many have died, surrendered to the Logic. Several have forsaken themselves into madness and despair. Yet for some, the uttermost few, they have transformed their workshop cages into the vaults of finality. Their prizes remain untouched, their makers languish is the only sustenance on which they can feed their craft. Of course, this is just a story. I doubt you’d ever find anything useful down below, in the deep forgotten dark. EDIT: Finality Rounds are ‘powerful’ so they can one-shot enemies with more health than rank and file enemies. This is also why the weapon uses Special ammo. The first three base rounds in the magazine deal the same damage but don’t activate the Feeding Anguish perk. I’m thinking the aim reticle could have a colour change or marker when aiming at an enemy to signify that it will be shot with a Finality Round. Cursed Finality Rounds are like non-precision dragonfly (think easy-proc Necrochasm). You can’t reactivate Feeding Anguish with Cursed Finality Rounds, to avoid infinite op damage. This also makes the exotic catalyst perk more viable as a trade between increased damage or energy regeneration.
