clarification on season passes for cross-save accounts

Hello I bought the Deluxe edition of Shadowkeep on Xbox one (since it was on sale first there) and than bought Normal edition Shadowkeep on Steam. My question is will I be covered for the rest of the season passes since I bought Deluxe on Xbox but my Steam account is the main account with Cross-Save being enabled (its the same account across all platforms) from the wording of what I've read on the FAQ for seasons tab up above it seems I will be ok, but I guess I will also find out in 20 days

  • You may be okay, but it depends on the order by which you did things with regard to Cross Save. Season Passes bind themselves to the characters that you first logged into. So, if you had not set up Cross Save and logged into your Xbox characters after purchasing Shadowkeep DDE, those Season Passes would belong to your Xbox characters. When you set up Cross Save, and selected your Steam characters as your Active, those Season Passes would still be attached to your Xbox characters. If you set up Cross Save before you logged in to Shadowkeep DDE on Xbox, you should be fine. A quick way to check is to go to the Season tab in your Director, and then hover over the banner that shows your Seasonal Rank. It will display how many Season Passes you have by putting a check next to each of the year 3 seasons. If all of them are checked, you have all 4 from the DDE. If you only have 1, then the 4 from the DDE are probably bound to your Xbox characters.
