That's because a titan only has one ranged melee, and it technically does lose its charge (it is retrievable though). If you're pointing out shoulder charge, then that's because it isn't a ranged melee.

Shoulder charge one shots, throwing knife can’t even break shields without a headshot. Zero forgiveness on the weaker ability and 100% forgiveness on the stronger one that also has utility to it. Seems fair.

  • As I said, can't throw the shoulder charge. In this current stage of shotguns being common, then shoulder charge is more dangerous and harder to get in than a throwing knife. A risk has a better reward, and throwing knives aren't as much of a risk.

  • Okay, now I'm just imagining a world where there is an exotic that lets a Titan convert his SC into a ranged AOE attack, kind of like Black Talon. you'd run and hold the melee button, and a tracking linear wave of energy from your shoulder or knee blasts out. I'd get so many beautiful kills off spawn on Endless Vale

  • Arc staff and spectral blades both go into shotgun range. By your own logic sunbreaker thrown hammers and thrown sentinel shields shouldn’t one shot, since there’s no risk and don’t even get me started on a ranged roaming super having the kind of damage resistance they do. So they’ll need to be nerfed and there can be no complaints because it’s just equal application of logic. According to your argument it’s better for the game to nerf titan supers into becoming unusable forcing every titan into juggernaut titans which is objectively overpowered than to find a way to buff a useless ability to viability.

  • Cuz it's a super? We are talking about melee abilities not supers.

  • Where did supers pop out from?

  • In no way was the topic about supers, nor does it have relevance to supers. Comparing melee abilities to supers is absurd.
