[BUG] Forging Legendary frames doesn't progress the Black Armory Exotic Weapon Quests
I just forged my 2nd Legendary weapon The Spiteful Fang (at Volundr forge). But the Exotic Weapon Quests (A Giant's Might and Butterfly's Grace) didn't progress on the number of Legendary weapon frame forged. They are still at 0/10.
What's the cause behind this issue? Is it because I forged the weapon at a wrong Forge?
Since Shadow Keep has simplified the gameplay of Black Armory, could this be a new issue from the change?

Lance here, I'm stuck too. I debunked quest tracking to resolve. Both tracking triumph for blacksmith title and for ledgendary bow frame for exotic quest are not updating. I argue if theory matching only doing builds limited to which forgevper day is available as morally fair. I feel if it matters enough to us we should just say we want our titles before sunsetting happens, and let Bungie auto toss us our titles , all of them from the past available to equip because I am saying here quests are across the board broken from original line lines.

Same for me, still. Did 2 on friday for the bow and the pulse and they registered. Did one today (sunday, still havent slept Haha) for my bow again that I bought with modulus reports instead. It counted. So now I'm at 3/10 in 3 days. So I tried again and it didnt register my bow. So I bought the pulse and it still didnt count. So now I'm stuck at 3/10

Still bugged, been at 5/10 for the past 3 weeks, ive done 6 frames since ive been stuck on 5/10 and not one counted, why can't we just buy ballistic logs instead of grinding for the dumb things and then have them waste our time? I pay for your DLC but you's are choosing what I can earn to use or not... get yourselves sorted.

forging legendary weapons not working . same for me , as for everybody . BUNGIE replay and fix the problem .

2 RepliesAbout bugged yotunn and la monarque quests. It's not only curated count towards 10 legendary frames. You have to do right frame on right forge. What I mean about "right" is that you have to do the frame which belonged to specific forge in season of the forge. So if you do: machine gun on Volundr, Snipe on Gofannon, and Pulse Rifle on Izanami forge and it will count. I did't check other weapons as I pretty much skipped season of the forge and don't remember which other weapons were forged on which forge. I tested it 2 weeks in the row and have now 8/10 and I have had only one curated weapon to drop.

+1 Did roughly 4 Light Machine Gun frames, 2 Bow frames, 1 Sniper frame, 1 Sword frame and still stuck at 3 / 10. Poggers.

Same here. Did one frame and it counted and then did a 2nd frame and it didn't count. It also doesn't show as created at Ada even though I have it in my inventory.

READ ME I found that if you have the quests tracked, it will properly update and you will make progress when forging legendary frames. However, I have only tested this with frames I acquired using ballistic logs, I have not tested it with frames bought with modulus reports.

definitely a bug sometimes it would register, other times it wouldnt Originally, I thought it was a 2 weap weekly limit but turns out, it's doesn't seem like it. Some weapons are just flat out not registering for whatever reason. I would craft the auto-rifle on a weekly reset and have it not register, then craft it again and have it register. Judging by how long it took Bungie to fix the Izanagi bug (they said it'll be fixed by next week, but I have my doubts on which parts of the bugged quest will be fixed), this bug will probably take another 3 weeks for a fix..

I’ve done two per week, trying to stay true to the quest, but gained no progress in either one. Forge weapons are cool and all but I would like to finish these quests lol

2 RepliesI think Bungie unintentionally time locked the quest, because it only let's you progress 2/10 each week from what I can tell. May have something to do with the number of ballistics log you can get per week (which is only 2) from Ada. I've done 10 frames on the past couple weeks and only got 4/10 on both quests.

3 RepliesFortunately for me i dont have both quests as i had le monrique drop for me before shadowkeep, wouldve preferred joutinn as i dont use le monrique. Hearing this, im gonna do the quest when bergusia comes round again as that one always be a all weapon type of forge.

1 ReplyThe same thing just happened to me. 2/10 frame completions with 3-4 actual forges. Most recently, I forged the legendary bow frame and was at Gofannon, and that didn't give me credit, in case that actually helps devs figure out the bug.

1 ReplyThe only one that count towards the progress are the 2 you get a week from completing the 2 bigger bountys. The others do not count towards progress.

I remember reading that completing the last step (forging) at 1 of the 4 forges will result in the bug and not progress the quest, while the other 3 will work. Forgot which one though
