Ps4 D1 char not showing for CrossSave Xbox1S D2
Someone recently told me about cross save and since i no longer have a Ps4 i stayed away from Destiny considering how long i played on Ps4 even during Beta. However, i wanted to start again since Destiny 2 is on GamePass but my character from D1 isn't visiable. From what I've learned i should be able to continue with my D1character on D2 and I've authenticated both Playstation and Xbox accounts but it shows no characters available. Can anyone give me any advice or help to figuring out how to continue with mt D1character?

4 RepliesAllo there, Cross save is for destiny 2 only and doesn't work with destiny 1. Back when you could transfer your D1 save into D2 that was for the same console family. So PS4 D1 to PS4 D2 etc. Since it didn't cross over with Xbox you'd need to start new characters. Keep in mind all that transferred was how your guardian looks and a few changes to dialogue. Everything else like weapons and exotics (that are in both games) need to be earned.

In order to have your D1 character(s) in D2, you would have to start playing D2 on PS4, as that was were your D1 data was created. That “migration” only occurred within the same platform, and only if you met the requirements. Keep in mind that the only things that carried over from D1 to D2, was the basic character appearances. No gear, no levels, nothing but their looks. You will not have characters available for cross-save, as you have not played D2, and cross-save is only valid for D2. With no game history, you can simply recreate your previous characters looks, and play on whatever platform you wish. Also, D2 is not part of the Xbox Game Pass. When Shadowkeep launched on October 1st, New Light was also launched. New Light offers the year one game content, and select content from years two and three, free to all players.

Wait.. i don't understand... i don't see anything on bungie except the clans i joined.. there's no history about my character or its game history.. what am i missing here?
