Tested this in two places now with the same operating system and we have the same result. Symptoms: Destiny 2 app will provide this error after google play updates any other app including Google Play itself: Loading Failed Check Your Network Connection This error message seems to recur until the application is manually uninstalled and reinstalled. The fix: Delete Destiny 2 Companion App from your phone manually Reinstall Destiny 2 Companion App. Affected platform seems to be Android 6.01 Marshmallow but it may be more widespread. I've been noticing every time Google Play updates any other application on my phone it destroys connectivity for the Destiny 2 companion app requiring uninstalling and reinstalling the Destiny 2 companion application to use it again. I've tested this on my old Sony Xperia M4 Aqua as well as my overpowered Android virtual machine from Windows.. Both experience the same issue with google's update software. Someone at Bungie should contact Google to figure out what part of the update software is conflicting with Destiny 2 Companion App so this can be addressed in a future update.
