Actually I wouldn't mind a best of year 2 at some point during Shadowkeep to get another chance at receiving items previously missed. Alternatively, there could be other means of achieving them.

No I want another chance for some of the ornaments. As long as best of year 2 engrams include stuff from forsaken and the season passes I’m all for it

Upvote. Engrams need to drop current loot. But If you are going to have Best Of Year engrams, the duplicate protection/knockout list needs to be expanded to include: Ships, Sparrows, Ghost Shells, Transmat Effects, Shaders and Armor so you always get something you didn't already have.

I'm more curious who choose these items as "Best of year one"? Wouldnt it be more interesting if there was a poll done to select items from year X and then roll the most voted on item into that engram?

They only did it because of the bright dust changes with shadowkeep, and the tribute hall.

They should do the tess engrams but locationally. Whatever location you at dlc wise you build xp for a eververse engram related to it. I’d prefer that anyway but that me personally

It would be nice to get stuff we haven't already acquired, but on a positive note, I'm padding my stock of dust back up from dismantling everything I dont need. I bought every tribute I could at only a 4% discount because I was too impatient to wait, it was a very costly decision.

16 RepliesI disagree. Not everyone was around or even knew what destiny was and I believe they should be able to get some loot. Its not hurting anyone and tess has only gotten bigger. This post should be more about improving rewards and cosmetics in the game outside of tess.

Agreed. On the plus side my Bright Dust balance is over 46,000......but it won't be this way in Season 8

I remember they said that year 1 stuff would be exclusive so you could tell who was actually there in the beginning of d2 vanilla hahaha lies again makes it all available 3 years later smh

1 ReplyI wouldn’t mind the “Best of Year” engrams IF the Eververse actually went thru the ENTIRE current season’s inventory. The fact that there were so many repeats plus the Event offering clogging up this list, caused several items to NOT be offered. Unfortunately, Bungo will claim this was an oversite and unintended… nah… who am I kiddin’, they won’t even address this at all.
