Accidentally unlinked only account on my legacy Bungie account, no recovery options - Is it completely lost?

While trying to manage account linkages between two Bungie accounts, I accidentally unlinked the original and only login for my 11 year old Bungie account. I don't have any recovery options under sign in, and attempting to log in with the original XBL account only takes me to new profile creation or adding PSN/B.net/Steam accounts. Is my old account effectively locked now?

Hello. Please follow these steps for recovering an orphaned bungie.net account.
If a player has lost access to a Bungie.net profile by removing all associated authentication methods, they may proceed through the following steps to reclaim their account: Identify the authentication method used to create the Bungie.net profile that was closed or lost Ensure the authentication method has been unlinked from any active Bungie.net profiles Open an incognito private window in your browser and go to http://www.bungie.net Click "Sign In" and use the account credentials that were originally linked to the desired account Select "Recover" next to the desired Bungie.net profile and complete the account reclamation process, which may be identified by profile membership ID's or Bungie.net join dates
Note that if it's been more than 90 days since the account was orphaned, recovery will no longer be possible.
