Okay, this may not be a website companion issue specifically, but this is where I see it the most. Basically, as an admin of several clans, I deal with a lot of players wanting to join. All our clans are set to invite only so that we can funnel them through our Discord server and make sure that the on-boarding experience is the same for everyone. Makes my life a lot easier. What I am finding, though, is that some people just are not possible to invite to the clan. These people have public profiles, their privacy settings are all checked and as far as I can see they are set up exactly the same way that everyone else is by default. However, what we see when they come into the clan, is this: https://imgur.com/a/DckkiYO The first indication of an issue is that that the player's profile icon is missing (seen immediately above the redacted username). You can also see their players. The second indication of an issue is that when you click on the three dots. What you get is this: https://imgur.com/a/EZ3Rrhr In the above, you'll see that there should be a sub-menu that offers report and message. However, neither appear here. The complicate things, if I try and invite this person into the clan, I will get a message back saying that they were successfully invited to the clan, but the player themselves receives no invitation. The only way we have figured out how to invite people with these profile issues is to directly send the invite to them in game. In our case, it also requires that the person sending the invite be an administrator (however, that hasn't been fully tested due to some logistical issues on my part). When the invite is sent out this way, the pending invite looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/RAgNEQc They can accept it in game just fine. This person is a member of our clan now, so all is good, but whatever is at issue with is profile is just beyond our ability to figure out. Is this an issue with the website, or the profile?
