Destiny 2 on Linux using Steam Play/Proton
If you guys are making it compatible with Vulkan so D2 can be put on Stadia, will we Linux users be able to play D2 on PC using Steam Play/Proton, please? Most of the work will literally be done already and I would really love to have Windows off my rig. Destiny 2 is the only thing holding me back because I’m not willing to risk my account to make it playable on Linux. I would really appreciate some feedback on this if you are seriously considering this.

But why does it not support Linux with Steam? If it stopped supporting Linux, I will give up or forget it. I haven't played it for 3 years until now.

1 ReplyPeople are tired of being abused by Microsoft and Apple. There will be a mass exodus at some point. Just because Linux is free, doesn't mean there isn't money in it. Bungie would be wise to invest now; you don't invest at the top--and the Linux market is WIDE open my friends.
