Bungie, I understand that the newest entry in the series is of utmost priority and I respect that 100%. But, I feel that all of the major content in the previous entry should be playable. That means Trials of Osiris as well. Trials was an integral part of the House of Wolves expansion, and was met with so much positive feedback overall, that it managed to stick around to the end. Now, it is locked away forever. Gear is not really obtainable for it anymore. And people cannot push for a flawless run and visit the lighthouse to get those shiny ornaments anymore. I doubt you will consider this, heck even read this post. But maybe there is a small chance that you can add it back. My argument is that if the weekly raids and stuff are still in rotation, Trials of Osiris can be as well.

Or just add it to D2 👍
-
If it ever happens, it will be the final nail in the coffin for D2.
-
if they returned trials they would gut their own d2 population.
-
They need to bring it back
-
I think they should. I don’t think they will. They shut it down to create anticipation for the d2 version. Once they realized that the d2 4v4 model was not viable they shut that down as well. They have never been able to effectively address the cheating aspect of these game modes, and due to their strict adherence to their belief that p2p was the right choice vs. dedicated servers they probably never will be able to properly shut down cheaters. I think that d1 is effectively dead to bungie. They have packed their bags and left that camp completely. It is still there and fun at times, but it’s on auto-pilot for the duration of its existence.

That stuff in D1 is supposed to be timed-exclusive to those who put in the work to get them. If my Exotic Eye of Osiris emblem from HoW made a return just because some players want to feel obligated for the rewards, I would be pissed. You should have came when Trials of active and you probably would have got it. It isn't Bungie's job to provide what has already been provided. Let Bungie fix their shit game before they start altering their first game that was already good.
-
When D2 came out they used some of D1 dedicated servers,so they removed Trials because they didn't have enough servers for everything in in D1.
-
They won't do it. People would go back to D1 to play trials again. Hell if they bring back Iron Banner, almost everyone might go back just to play d1 Iron Banner
-
Oh hell no the game is much better without that crap
-
just let trials die! *

Edited by ClothingOptionaI: 4/17/2019 12:06:47 AMIt won't happen. Plus the D1 pvp player pop is still fairly small. Next Tuesday you can play Elim again all week along with Control and Supremacy... I hopped on for some Control this weekend. The servers and lag are still bad as ever.

Would kill d2 pvp and prove them wrong. Wont happen.
-
But then everyone would leave for D1. Bungie won't let that happen sadly
-
Most players dont do competitive because of supposedly how toxic it is. Trials is like the toxic of the toxic. You can see why they put it on hiatus. Community complained, then it gets canned. Blame the bad PVP players who never do competitive.
-
Bring Trials Back it’s my favorite PVP content in any game on any platform
-
Did they specifically say why they took it away for d1 or even d2 for that matter?
-
It's good to dream. Won't happen. None of y'all seem to read or have very short memories. Bungie has stated time and time again 3 V 3 elimination is never going to return. Get over it. Not to D1 or D2
-
Destiny's Trials of Osiris will not return to D1 because reasons. Destiny 2's Trials of.....whatever will not return because excuses.
-
I've been back on d1 this last week and having so much fun on it. Return of trials would be perfect! I saw a petition somewhere that had almost 5k signatures. Please bungie!!

With the exception of a very small group of players, ToO was to most... garbage. Also, the state of Bungie’s Crucible is laughable, no matchmaking and is nowhere near Competitive. They have defiled PvP with their pinnacle weapons and pointless attempts at balancing. In other words, they suck at creating a positive PvP experience. Hopefully this improves in D3.

Edited by Whopping Dingers: 4/16/2019 3:42:31 PMIf they did D2 would be dead. This is coming from someone who despises Trials, but 3 v 3 elim...that's a different story. D2 could really do with some 3 v 3 elim. It would also free up comp from Friday to Monday.

They never should have removed paid for content int he first place but hey that is what they do throughout this franchise.
-
Sheeeit I would play d1 if trials returned (on the weekend ) lol

Edited by Amazinite: 4/16/2019 5:48:35 AMIB too. Quit D1 because Rise of Iron came out. Never got to experience the RoI IB weapons.
