That's funny because the pillager is about the only gambit weapon that drops for me. After all this time and grinding out the breakneck quest I've only gotten 2 hazards, 2 trust, 2 scouts ,no bygones , 2 snipers and about 10+ pillagers..

I have a masterwork with outlaw kill clip and backup mag with reload. I can mow down an entire side before my team even gets to the next area it's insane. Flared magwell and masterwork reload speed is nuts.

No bygones? Damn that sucks... You can buy the Bygones from him directly though with a decent roll..
