Can Guardians procreate, be it with each other or with a mortal human/awoken/Exo (however that would happen)?
If you think yes, what would be the result? If you think no, why? If you think anything else, I don't know what to tell you.

Short answer: most likely no Long answer: This question was asked a while ago back in Age of Triumph , but I will help answer to the best of my ability. I personally feel that the Ghost would only bring back the things needed for living like the brain and heart. Reproductive Organs would most likely be either left out or they would be unusable. If they were there, then you would probably just be sterile so no Guardian kids. Plus, I feel it would be awkward if there was a Guardian running around pregnant while getting shot at by enemies.

Lol. #BabyGuardians

I highly doubt it, we are animated by the light and probably another reason guardians are protecting the last of humanity to spread the seed and continue to species, I don't know for sure though, just speculation.

Only one way to find out.

Cayde had a kid when he was still human.

Depends, are we going with the sole intro of D1 being applied to all guardians (remember, there were guardians in some kinda stasis as well) or are we going with the INTENDED intro from bungie whom were forced to use it for all guardians where that intro in D1 was supposed to ONLY be for Exo's?

Edited by ChiefDevilEggs: 11/8/2017 9:32:14 PMWe can try...

I think they are sterile. I mean not getting laid for hundreds of years, that had to make some damage down there... Lol

I’m not sure if Guardians can procreate since they used to be dead, but since their Ghosts seemed to revive all of their other bodily functions AND Ghosts keep all of our organs and cells refreshed, I’d say it’s very likely. The problem is that a Ghost only appears to be able to heal whoever it’s paired with, so I bet that a pregnant Guardian would have to avoid dying the whole 9 months so the baby can be survive

No, they're dead. We may be able to move around because the light props up our dead body and animates it, but we're still dead and had been dead and decaying for a long time before we were reanimated.
-
we're all long-dead zombies. Likely not.
-
I always thought guardians were just ordinary humans/awoken that the Traveller chose to give the light to. So unless the light sterilises the human/awoken then their reproductive organs should still function as normal.

This is what you think about when playing destiny? Get some friendgame bro!

I’d say yeah like normal human beings they technically could, but the kid will most likely be normal since the light cannot really be transferred it has to be gifted by the Traveler himself. -
I don't think Exos would be able to, as they're robots, but I think Awoken and humans would be able to. I imagine an Awoken getting together with a human would make a hybrid of some sort.
-
Exos can't for sure They were humans that sacrificed all the draw backs of being human, for the price of not being able to procreate Apparently they can still do it tho, ana bray said something about it being redundant in the grimoir Redundant, not impossible
-
Sure, bend over!

I don't think Exos can have children cause most of them are robots but with human minds I doubt they kept the necessary parts to make a child. As for Awoken and human I don't see why not after all they seem to share enough to base traits to do so. My question is if two guardians had a child would that child have the ability to wield the light as well? Also I wonder if some guardians have started relationships with regular humans in the last city.

I'd do ikora, and Amanda, and the queen of the reef although I think half haircut was doing her...

Idk. My female hunter is pretty cute. Though I'm not sure if I'm into mutes. Atleast she knows how to dance, shoot stuff and the occasional emote.

I can’t see why they wouldn’t be able to, but I haven’t seen any evidence that they can.

They are Undead, pretty sure the Undead can't breed, but it's also sci-fi fantasy, so anything is possible.
