In case people don't know... Raids do not have locked loadouts... Only Nightfalls.
Seems a fairly new bit of info.
Seemingly in response, game director Luke Smith later confirmed on Twitter that raids will not lock your loadout. “We don’t want this; ‘I just got Midnight Coup to drop, let me quit to equip and I’ll rejoin,'” he said.
Raids in D2 don't have locked loadouts.
We don't want this;
"I just got Midnight Coup to drop, let me quit to equip and I'll rejoin."

Usually I don't change loadouts anyways for NFs ~TheGreatNike

If it is a nightfall with a known strike and known modifiers why do you need to change weapons part way through? Unless it is one if your first runs or a particularly crappy set of modifiers and you forgot to read the weekly post by The Great Nike why wouldn't you have the optimum loadout planned before you even got your fireteam? Locked loadouts is a wasted opportunity here.

If its just for nightfalls i imagine its going to be a random modifier, pretty pointless for just one acitivity otherwise ( i like the idea of locked loadouts fyi )

Oh. I was actually a little excited for this in raids.

I'm not sure what all the stink is about with locked loadouts. The only time I ever bothered to swap equipped weapons was in King's Fall. I'd switch my primary to Touch of Malice once we got to the Daughters. Nothing in this game was ever hard enough to require me to micromanage my loadout like that.

people complain there was no real challenge in d1 just artificial making enemies bullet sponges... the mere thought of incorporating some challenge and everyone lost their shit this community is bogus AF lol

PSA: stop using apostrophe's the wrong way.

I think the big issue this community is having may be based on fear that certain PVE tasks that were previously a breeze are going to have heightened difficulty. It is ok if a weekly task is too hard for some players, it just means they need to work on something in their play that they are missing. Effortless rewards littered D1
